Best kept secret in penasco! I drive 1 hour to have Sunday brunch here often, if I could go every Sunday I would! The Sunday brunch complementary scones and in house jam are to die for, literally!!! The in house lemonade has the jam in it too!!! Pizza is amazing, burgers, steaks, not to mention the heavenly deserts always available like towering chocolate cake, carrot cake and whatever else the chef is in the mood for making. Everything i have ate here has made my taste buds dance with delight, it's like a trip of satisfaction in my mouth! A must try for yourself....
My husband and I still talk about this place several times a year when bringing up 'best meal ever had on vacation' 'best carrot cake on earth'... or anything New Mexico. I think our waitress may have been the only staff member in the whole place. It was a surreal dining experience. Kind of weird... magical. It's just a tiny little place on the edge of the road in the middle of nowhere. I even get the idea every now and then that we should go back to Santa Fe/Taos soon, so we can go back to Sugar Nymphs. It's that good. Do not pass up the opportunity. Seriously.

Outstanding food! Every time I go backpacking in Carson National Forest, I make sure to stop here on the way home. The chicken BLT is to die for! If you're taking the High Road to Taos from Santa Fe, make this your lunch stop - you'll be glad you did!
